InvestFW Review: Is InvestFW.com A Reliable Broker?
InvestFW broker has been on the market since 2016 and they are owned by the company iTrade Global CY Ltd from Cyprus. InvestFW also holds a license from the local regulatory body, CySEC.
Additionally, the company that owns the InvestFW broker, also has two other brokerages TradeFW and Tradedwell but one of them is closed since the 27th of January 2023.
Besides that, InvestFW offers a very basic trading platform, Web Trader, and the trading conditions are very uncompetitive in comparison to other brokers regulated by CySEC.
Because of that, the broker recently went under a massive reconstruction of their services and that’s why we wanted to make this InvestFW review, so we can bring you closer to the new offerings of this brokerage.

How Are You Protected at InvestFW? Security and Regulation
As we have mentioned, the broker InvestFW is a brand owned by iTrade Global CY Limited from Cyprus, that holds the CySEC license number 298/16. This same company owns two other entities which are TradeFW and TradedWell, both under the same license. But one of those companies is closed as of January 2023.
Now the thing is, even though they ho,d a very reputable license from CySEC, which is a Tier 1 regulator, the company has changed its name and few domains since it was established in 2016.
This raises a lot of questions and suspicions. Mainly why did they do it. Additionally, since the InvestFW is regulated by CySEC, the broker can operate all around the EEA zone and additionally in the countries where it complies with the trading regime.
That is all good and according to the rules set by all Tier 1 regulators. But the broker has since mentioned on their website that it’s on the TPR regime for the FCA license and can provide limited services. And yet on the FCA’s register, there is no mention of InvestFW anywhere.
The company has started remodeling the offerings of their services since the beginning of this year, which leaves us to see what they will do and if they will actually receive the regulation from the main watchdog FCA.
Overall, the broker is regulated by a great Tier 1 regulator, CySEC and we do hope they will gain license from the FCA as well. And in the meantime, if you want to trade with a broker that has better trading conditions than this one, we suggest you try Dukascopy, as they have very good terms.
Accounts Types Available at InvestFW
As for the trading account types, the InvestFW offer only three different ones and those are:
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
We managed to dig out from their T&C that the minimum deposit requirement is $250. That is a bit pricey for our taste as there are other Tier 1 regulated brokers that will allow you to start with much less.
On top of that, there is no mention of the minimum deposit requirements for the other training accounts. Also, there’s absolutely no difference between these account types, so we’re a bit confused here about reasons why someone would upgrade to a higher level if they don’t gain anything.
One good thing that we did find is that this broker does offer a Demo account. This allows the clients to test out the trading platform and the trading conditions before even depositing the money with the broker.
Trading Platforms Overview
Even though InvestFW is regulated by the Tier 1 regulator, they really disappointed us with the lack of a good trading platform. Unfortunately, the InvestFW trading platform is limited to a rather poor Web trader without automated or social trading or any unique features.
We were expecting to see either MetaTrader4 or MetaTrader5 with this broker, but we got a basic Web Trader. This is not to say that the Web Trader is necessarily bad, but it lacks advanced tools that you would get with the MetaTrader4 and MetaTrader5.
Furthermore, trading conditions are equally disappointing since the spread starts from 3 pips for EUR/USD pairs. Just for your compartment, the industry average is around 1 pip.
Trading Instrument Offered
With the InvestFW broker you can choose from the following trading instruments:
- Forex pairs
- Commodities
- Indices
- Shares
We were a bit confused about trading assets as the broker makes different claims in different parts of the website. In the account types section, we found those four trading instruments.
But on the main page, the broker indicated that clients have access to 4 major cryptocurrencies which are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and Litecoin. That is a bit strange.
As for the leverage, it follows the ESMA rules and regulations and it caps at 1:30.
InvestFW Funding Methods
InvestFW offers the following deposit methods:
- Visa or Master credit or debit card
- Maestro
- Sofort
- Trustly
The deposit methods offer a good diversity but on the broker’s main page, we saw that they claim they offer numerous e-wallets known for safe transfers, such as PayPal and Skrill. But there was no sign of them on the deposit methods page.
As for the fees for both the deposit and withdrawals, they are without fees from the company’s side and all you have to cover is the payment provider’s expenses.
Research and Education
When making this review we paid special attention to the educational material you can get from this broker. However we are sad to say that their library is nowhere near as good as the one you can see with some other brokers like Fidelity.
Under their Knowledge center tab, you will be able to access assets information, glossary or their FAQs section. Besides this they also provide economic calendar and daily market analysis.
We can confidently say that this is not enough material especially for someone that is just starting their trading journey. It may be a better option to choose a different broker altogether or find needed material elsewhere on the web.
Customer Support
Customer support is an important aspect to consider when making a decision whether or not to work with a certain broker. After all, you will want to trade with the company where you feel like your needs are met.
As for InvestFW, they have an impressive customer support that will ensure your satisfaction. You can reach them on this email [email protected] or through a form on their website if that is something you prefer. In addition to this, there are also multiple phone numbers so you can easily contact them from the country you are currently in. Their working hours are Monday- Friday from 9am to 6pm GMT.
But in case you don’t feel like contacting them, for any minor or general questions, we recommend you check out their FAQs page.
InvestFW Overall Summary
To summarize everything that we presented in this review, InvestFW is a Cyprus-based broker that is working with clients across Europe. They have been in business since 2016, and are regulated by CySEC, which is a Tier1 regulator.
In terms of trading conditions, they offer a 1:30 leverage which is within the guidelines that their regulator has in place. The minimum deposit is €250, which certainly is on a higher side, but keep in mind that if you decide to invest, you’ll be working with a legit, well-regulated firm.
However, they only offer a web trader while many other brokers also give their clients an opportunity to use the industry’s best MT4 and MT5 trading platforms. On a more positive note, the broker does have a mobile app that will let you trade anytime you want.
As for their customer support, it is on an impressive level, all in order to make sure the clients are happy. But if you are new to trading this broker may not be the best fit as they lack much of the educational material you can easily find with other brokers.
