Midarobot Review: Midarobot.cc Was Never the Right Choice

Midarobot Review

The first red flag we encounter by visiting the platform’s website is the ‘Not Secure’ warning from Google. Right from the start, the firm doesn’t seem like a reliable choice and our Midarobot review is here to uncover if we are right by judging the book by its cover and not the pages. As for the company, they are luckily no longer a threat to investors as they ceased operations.

Many platforms will try to present themselves in a good light, however, no one hides from our honest reviews. The same thing applies to the Volofinance broker, an unregulated company trying to lure investors into depositing, only to leave them with nothing.

Who Is Midarobot?

Midarobot was a platform offering AI trading tools among other things. They also provided financial services with high risk and return, making them a firm that requires regulatory oversight, however, they operated without a license. According to the information we have today, the domain was registered in 2022 and taken down soon after, probably due to reported scams.

This firm pretended to be a legitimate business under the name Amara Investment Management. The mere fact that the company is no longer operational is proof enough of its unreliability. The .cc domain is the country code TLD for the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, a territory of Australia. Midarobot remains a mystery until this day and probably always will.

Regulation Info

Midarobot was offering financial services according to ScamAdviser, however, it was not regulated by any financial authority. In 2023, the Securities Commission Malaysia issued an alert in regards to using the Midarobot platform. It has been confirmed that they were misusing the name and credentials of Amara Investment Management, a licensed entity with SC.

They misused the name for fund management to carry out an illegal investment scheme offering high returns e.g. return of 9,000 in 3-6 hours with an investment of 300. The platform was operating from the United States where regulation by the SEC is necessary. Additionally, some of their clients came from Germany, however, BaFin didn’t oversee its operations.

Midarobot Profile

Midarobot is becoming history as days pass by and finding a reliable source of information can be challenging. Scammers like this one don’t give up so easily and there is always a chance of them reappearing under a different domain. It wasn’t enough for Midarobot to operate unregulated, they had to become a dangerous clone of a legit company.

There is no information about the trading conditions they offered but we suspect they were any good. Scammers like this one don’t usually dedicate much time to establishing good trading conditions and a secure environment. Be careful who you trust with your hard-earned funds.

Is Midarobot Safe To Trade With?

Data-sensitive services are hosted on a shared server on the platform’s website, indicating how dangerous they are. The platform offered financial services but lacked regulation. How Is the Scam Carried Out?

As the SC Malaysia alert says, the platform was offering investment services but lacked regulation. The platform offered high returns with small investments, which is a common tactic some platforms and brokers use to scam investors.
